The clipboard error occurs in other apps when copying

A clipboard error may occur when copying text from applications such as Excel or PDF readers.
(This can happen if other software is also interacting with the clipboard.)

To resolve this issue, adjust the clipboard update delay in Preferences.
Try setting it to around 100 milliseconds. If the error no longer occurs, the setting is fine.
If the error persists, gradually increase the delay until the issue is resolved.
