Customize with Settings

Clibor can be customized by adjusting its settings.
To access the settings screen, right-click the Clibor icon in the menu bar and select Preferences.

For details on each setting, refer to the Preferences section.

Number of Clipboard History Entries Saved

By default, Clibor saves 1,000 clipboard history entries, but you can increase this up to 10,000.
If you need to store more history, adjust the following setting:

Preferences > General > Maximum number of clipboard history entries to save

Set Hotkeys to Display Clibor

By default, Clibor is invoked by pressing the Command key twice.
If you want to assign a different hotkey, change the following setting.

Preferences > Hotkey

Convenient use of auto-paste

I usually keep auto-paste disabled, but sometimes I wish I could paste automatically.

By holding down the Option key while selecting a history entry or pressing a shortcut key, you can temporarily reverse the auto-paste setting.

  • If auto-paste is disabled, holding down the Option key while selecting a history entry will enable auto-paste.
  • If auto-paste is enabled, holding down the Option key while selecting a history entry will temporarily disable it.

It’s a simple but surprisingly useful feature—give it a try!

Move the main screen

Clibor’s main screen can be moved by dragging.
Click and hold on a list or tab in the main screen, then drag to reposition it.

Always on Top

Clibor can stay on top by selecting “Always on top” from the Clibor menu in the menu bar.
When enabled, Clibor remains visible without taking focus, allowing you to continue typing in a text editor while keeping Clibor open.

This is useful for monitoring clipboard updates in real time.

You can also toggle “Always on top” by double-clicking a tab.
