Convert rich text to text

Clibor saves the clipboard in text format and transfers it as text when used.
It uses it to turn decorative strings into plain text.

For example, if you copy colored text in Numbers, the decoration will be pasted as is when pasting.

On the Mac, if you want to paste without formatting, there is a shortcut key “command + shift + option + V”, but it is very difficult to press.

If you want to copy the above string and paste just the string, display Clibor once and select History.

If you go through Clibor as above, it will be transferred to the clipboard as text, so you can paste it into Numbers as a string. I use it often.

FIFO per new line

You can switch to FIFO mode for each new line.

For example, simply copy a string like the following and then select it from the right-click menu as shown above.

Clipboard history1
Clipboard history2
Clipboard history3

You can then immediately switch to FIFO mode.

It is also useful in Numbers.
If you copy multiple cells and set FIFO mode for each new line in the same way, FIFO mode is possible on a cell-by-cell basis.

This feature is also very useful, so please take advantage of it.

Save the entered text

For example, have you ever typed a long sentence and finally needed to send or save it?
Have you ever had a situation where you worked hard to get to the halfway point and then accidentally closed or froze your browser and lost what you had typed?

In such cases, after you have entered some text, select all of it with “command+A”, copy it with “command+C”, and save it in Clibor.
In the unlikely event that the input is lost, it can be easily restored from Clibor.

Clibor is useful not only for reusing the clipboard history, but also for saving text in case of emergency.

Get a list of file and folder names

When a file/folder is copied, the file/folder name can be saved in Clibor’s history.

When a file or folder is selected and copied, the name is stored in Clibor’s history as follows

Clibor.dmg

Desktop

To use the above file and folder names, select them from Clibor’s history.

Save all clipboard history to text

This is a way to have a lot of clipboard history and save them all at once to text.
Suppose you have the following clipboard history.

Right-click the Clibor icon on the menu bar and click “Multiple selection of history”.
On the screen that appears, select all of the histories and click the “Concatenate” button.

You can select all of them with “command+A”.

All data in the history will be transferred to the clipboard, so please paste it into a text editor and save it.
